The teams which played very well generally plays the semifinals in the many occasions. Also, there were also the situations when some IPL Teams play very well in the group stage and even reach the top but failed to win the Champion title. There were also the matches when teams do not score well in the starting games in the group stage but put their paddle on the accelerator on the right time and even achieve the Champions title.

In the 9 season till IPL 2016 two teams Chennai Superkings And Rajasthan Royals got the suspension for the two years in 2015 So they are not playing in the Vivo IPL 2017.But these teams lift the trophy some time.After these teams suspension, two New IPL Teams were introduced.Present champion of the IPL is the Sunrisers Hyderabad which plays the tournament having the most entertaining player as skipper David Warner leads the team from the front along with the magical swinging of the Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
